Senior Men’s Interclub Info

The Okanagan Golf Club is pleased to participate in the Senior Men’s InterClub League, engaging in friendly competition with seven other clubs in the region. The InterClub season runs from mid-May to early September. Only registered members of the Senior Men’s Club are eligible to play. A link to the rules and format can be found here Download Format & Rules

We play “home and home” matches over two days, with four golfers representing Okanagan Golf Club competing against four players from the other club. Players who sign up must commit to play on both days of their scheduled “home and home” match. Host players will buy a light lunch (ie. burger and a beer) for their visiting counterparts, and the gesture will be reciprocated after the return match.

Fees for visiting players are the same at all participating clubs – $70+tax (includes green fee, shared cart and range if applicable).

We are implementing a new registration system this year for InterClub sign-up, and ask you to bear with us as we may go through some growing pains.

Registered members of the Senior Men’s Club will receive a “Sign Up” email approximately three weeks prior to each match. If you are interested in playing that particular match, enter your name, contact info and Golf Canada Handicap Factor, and hit “Send”. If more than four players sign up for a particular match, we will draw to select the team.  Participants will be notified by email at least 2 weeks prior to the first date of their “home and home” match.

In addition to the Senior Men’s InterClub, we also have “home and home” friendly competitions with Gallagher’s Canyon (GO Challenge) and Salmon Arm. These events are held on the same days as the InterClub competitions between the clubs, and allow more players to experience the opportunity of competing for your club in a friendly setting. Details will be shared as they become available.
